A Few New NODRM Patches to Talk About

October 11, 2012

It seems like it’s been a little while since we have run any reports on the latest eboot fixes headed your way, so I thought I would bring things back around by announcing that an updated CoD MW3 patch and a Warhammer 40000 Space Marine release allow even more games to be played on CFW.

When it comes to both of these games, I sort of feel like they come from franchises that really need no introduction. Call of Duty especially, has become the globe’s most popular first person shooter due to its multi-platform release strategy. On top of that however, you have some pretty incredible single player campaigns matched with multiplayer modes that will keep you glued to your TV set for hours. This patch in particular merely serves as an update to a previously released patch, so that basically means that now you should be able to play a more recent build of the title without having to surrender your CFW goodness.

Warhammer 40000 offers quite a lot of addiction as well, albeit in a slightly different light. Instead¬† of getting thrills from a first-person perspective Warhammer is famous for its third-person view. Still, there are plenty of guns to mess about with that will make fans of explosions quite happy. With its unique gameplay that lies somewhere between the hack and slash and shooter genres, there’s certainly a sense that you’ll be getting a new experience here. As your team of combatants battles hordes upon hordes of foes, a gripping story will keep you entertained as well. Essentially, if you are a fan of blowing stuff up, you’ll be glad to see both of these games on the NODRM release list.
