Activision to Release Transformers: Fall of Cybertron Sooner Instead of Later

July 7, 2012

If you’ve been eagerly waiting for the release of this epic addition to the Transformers universe of video games then your wait will be over sooner than you might have expected.  Thanks to Activision, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron will be in your hands soon enough.

Activision has made an announcement that the anticipated Transformers: Fall of Cybertron will be released ahead of the schedule that had been floating around.

Activision originally planned for a release on August 28 has this date has now ‘transformed’ into August 21.  Ok so that is only a week but it is still sooner than expected, and myself and the rest of the Transformer nerds around the world couldn’t be happier.

The news about the early release of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron doesn’t stop there though.  Activision has also released a new trailer featuring Metroplex who is a giant Transformer that I’m assuming will be epic within the game.

So, there you go.  Get your Transformers: Fall of Cybertron pre orders in and get ready to join the fight a little earlier than expected.  Enjoy it because how often do we hear about a video game being released early?   Delays happen all the time like FarCry 3 and the disappointing Duke Nukem game that took more than a decade to be released.

Are you looking forward to picking up Transformers: Fall of Cybertron?  Is this a good move by Activision to push out the game a little sooner?
