Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance has now been officially confirmed for PC, and will launch “soon,” according to Hideo Kojima which Konami announced today. Hideo Kojima first revealed the port l.
Developed by Kojima Productions and Platinum Games, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance for PC is the full game built from the ground up, so it’s not going to be a shoddy port from the PS3 over to PC, it’s the real deal. It will run at a full, 60 frames per second on PC, but no other PC specific features were announced. Unfortunately, there has not been any confirmation nor has their been word on whether or not the PC version will come packed with (or even be getting) the game’s DLC content including new playable characters, new stories and loads of additional VR training missions.
For those who do not know the about the game ( if you’ve been living under a rock and have not played this great title) Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is set in the near future, where cyborg technology has become commonplace throughout society. Three years have have come and gone since the Patriots system collapsed. This has been secretly controlling the global power balance from the shadows. However, peace is still not within their grasp. The dissemination of cybernetic technology has triggered more fighting and war as those who control the trade gain power. Rising takes place outside of the Metal Gear canon. Instead of having the series regular Solid Snake as the protagonist, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance has cyborg ninja Raiden as the main character.
