Deliver Some Pain With Paintown 3.6

August 27, 2012

The popular 2D side scrolling beat-down game Paintown has received an update. This open source MUGEN, a free 2D game engine, has had some changes that include smoother pixels and zip/7z file loading.  It is also reported that this game port should work on PlayStation 3′s that have been converted to debug/test units. That is only when running DEX 3.55 with peek/poke.

  • Added XBR and HQX scaling algorithms to smooth out pixels at higher window sizes
  • Can load data from .zip and .7z files

  • Fixed many bugs
  • Projectiles work
  • Helpers work
