Everything You Need To Know To Install 4.30 CFW (From 3.55 CFW)

February 13, 2013

I’ve been putting off updating my PS3 to 4.30 CFW merely because I didn’t understand a few things about it, and now I have taken that step, and turned that into a tutorial for you fine people to follow whether you are as hesitant as I was, or just new to the hacking scene.

The tutorial below is a video step by step showing you how to take your 3.55 CFW PS3 to the next level and move up to 4.30 CFW.  The CFW in question is 4.30.1 CFW by REBUG to be exact, and I chose this since REBUG has been the best experience for me so far with my PS3 hacking.

How To Install 4.30 PS3 CFW (From 3.55 CFW) – Note that you NEED to be on 3.55 CFW before doing this.  If you are on 4.30 OFW it won’t work.  You also need to QA flag your PS3 which you can read about on my previous article here.  Enjoy the video, stay safe with your hacking and if there are any questions the comment section below or on my video can be the host for those!
