Game Releases Of October 2013

by ps3iso on October 6, 2013

So I thought I’ll do what I did last month where I let you all know what games are coming out this month. Highlights of this month include Batman Origins, Beyond: Two Souls and The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.

F1 2013

It’s that time of the year again where we begin to see the yearly games come out, we saw Fifa and PES last month this month it’ll be F1 and a few others I’ve listed down below.

Age Rating: 3+

Platform(s): PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360

Release Date: October 4th

NBA 2K14

NBA 2k14 seems pretty cool, but I’m not really a basketball guy, so I’ll give this one a miss.

Age Rating: 3+

Platform(s): PS3, Xbox 360, PC, PS4 and Xbox One

Release Date: October 4th

The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker

The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker looks pretty awesome, I love the art style, all cartoony. This looks like fun so if you have a Wii U I reckon you should pick it up.

Age Rating: 7+

Platform(s): Wii U

Release Date: October 7th

Beyond: Two Souls

Ahhh, one of my most anticipated games this year, Beyond is made by Quantic Dream, developers of the emotional Heavy Rain (Darn you!) I can’t wait to have my special edition in my hands on the 11th!
Age Rating:16+

Platform(s): PlayStation 3 Release Date: October 11th

Skylanders SWAP Force

Rather than statues themselves, you now can take half a statue and put them on a different statue for all different kind of attack and abilities, I wont be getting it but I have one thing to say – I LOVE that trailer :)

Age Rating: 7+

Platform(s): 3DS, Xbox 360, Wii U, Wii, PlayStation 3

Release Date: October 18th

Just Dance Kids 2014

Everyone loves a bit of just dance, but I promise when no ones around I don’t secretly turn the Wii on and play it…..

Age Rating: 3+

Platform(s): Xbox 360, Wii, Wii U

Release Date: October 24th

Batman Arkham Origins

Now this is one of the blockbuster releases of the month, Arkham Origins takes place before all of the other Arkham games (hence the word ‘Origins’) This looks really good and I’m tempted to pick it up – But if you’re planning to get it for the Wii U, disclaimer; The multiplayer part of it is missing. Yep.

Age Rating: 16+

Platform(s): Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, Wii U

Release Date: October 25th

Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate

This is the mobile counterpart of the home console release, I’ve expressed my thoughts on this before, it looks like a mobile game I’d spend £4 on. Not £30.

Age Rating: 16+

Platform(s): PlayStation Vita, 3DS

Release Date: October 25th

Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3: Full Burst

Age Rating: 12

Platform(s): PC, Xbox 360, PS3

Release Date: October 25th

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Now this game looks awesome, and I wish it was on PS3, I’d definitely pick it up, I don’t really understand why it isn’t though. Thoughts?

Age Rating: 7+

Platform(s): 3DS, Wii, Xbox 360

Release Date: October 25th

WWE 2K14

Yes, another yearly release game – WWE interested me when I was about 8, but I’ve lost interested and I’m more facing towards games that’ll make me cry… haha.

Age Rating: 16+

Platform(s): Xbox 360, PlayStation 3

Release Date: October 29th

Every month, UK retailer GAME put together a video showing the releases of this month, I thought it’d be a nice addition to this article:

So which of these are you planning to get, or, what games are you planning to buy/acquire this month? I’m terrible. So far besides the PS Plus games (Far Cry 3, Street Fighter vs Tekken, Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen!, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, and Touch My Katamari)I’ve recently bought Devil May Cry/ DmC and I’ve got the special edition of Beyond: Two Souls on pre-order :) Nearly completed DmC but I’ve yet to complete Far Cry and the rest.

If I’ve missed any, feel free to say in the comment box below – and I pose a question to Wololo readers, would you like this website to start writing reviews? if yes, I’ll write up a review for Beyond: Two Souls when I complete it and then you can choose if I should continue to write reviews or not. What do you think?
