Upcoming stealth title, Hitman: Absolution will feature five difficulty levels and will offer something for the casual player right down to the hardcore gamer.

For those that fancy experiencing the game in a comfortable environment, the easier difficulty settings will feature help and assists that includes checkpoints and hints. For the hardcore gamers out there that choose the hardest difficulty setting “Purist,” assistance and help is extremely limited with no help, guides, interface and only a crosshair to your advantage. The full list of exactly what is included in each of the five difficulty levels, is listed below.

Enhanced: Easy

  • Players can activate additional checkpoints
  • Instinct regenerates
  • Instinct will provide hints
  • Enemies react more slowly than normal

Enhanced: Medium  -

  • Players can activate additional checkpoints
  • Instinct does not regenerate
  • Instinct will provide hints
  • Normal enemy presence with normal reaction times

Professional: Hard

  • Players can activate additional checkpoints
  • Insting depletes when used and does not regenerate
  • No instinct hints
  • Additional enemies with improved reaction time

Professional: Expert

  • No player-activated checkpoints
  • Instinct depletes when used and does not regenerate
  • No instinct hints
  • Maximum number of enemies with fastest reacton

Professional: Purist

  • No Help
  • No guides
  • No Interface
  • Only a crosshair

Hitman: Absolution is released on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on November 20th.
