There’s an abundance of tools available as alternatives to the inhouse Install Package Files solution found in custom firmware these days. deroad who has been one of the first developers to push out such an application has provided us with a small update to his tool. This update fixes a bug that was found in the homebrew. Other than that, there’s nothing else going into this release. As you know, the Install Package Homebrew can be used as an alternative in case you updated to Rogero’s 4.30 v2 firmware which doesn’t have the function included, (Which was reintroduced in v2.03) or if you want a simpler/complex option.
You can download the latest version of Install Package Homebrew below. With this bug out of the way, deroad can go back to prepping his homebrew that he plans on releasing for Christmas. I wonder what that could be.
