Here’s a useful app, which we initially missed out on reporting. CaptainCPS-X, known for his extensive work on the FBANext emulator, has released a tool to help organize your favorite emulator’s ROM collection. Anyone who’s used multiMAN’s built in emulators knows what a pain it is to rename all of your ROM’s cover art, so that it shows up properly. Well, multiMAN Retro Tools v0.07, does away with those hassles by making easy work of it. In addition to the automatic renaming of covers, the tool also automatically generates PKG files for your ROM’s and covers. With a feature like this, it makes the installation of new content for your emulators a snap.
For those of you already familiar with the functionality of multiMAN Retro Tools, you’re probably wondering what’s new to version 0.07. Well, the new release mostly focuses on small bug fixes and stability issue. This may not sound like a lot, but it does warrant updating to ensure a smoother experience with the app. In addition, the latest release now features multi-threading, which significantly speeds up tasks.
