In order to mark the launch of EA’s upcoming racer, Need for Speed: Most Wanted a collection of luxury supercars took to the streets of the capital today, delivering the ultimate in commuter travel.

City workers were given the chance to see London in a whole new way as the scheme encouraged the public to track down specifically designed supercar docking stations. These were located at sites including Waterloo and Covent Garden. These were in secret settings and commuters tweeting the location once they found it, before taking their seat for a one-off ride.

The cars included a Porsche 911 Carrera, Lamborghini LP560 Sypder, Mercedes SLS and BMW M3 and were exact matches of those found in the game and with the scheme mimicking what takes place in the game which is find the car and take a ride in it.

A couple of screenshots were also released. Let us know if you saw any of the supercars via the comment section below.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted is released tomorrow, November 2nd for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation Vita, PC, iOS and Android.
