New CFW Update Adds Better Support: Rebug 4.30.2 REX & Toolbox Update

March 18, 2013

As we pass through another wild week in the hacking and homebrew scene, Rebug present us with an update on their custom firmware. REX 4.30.2 gives only minor touches to the current REX Custom firmware, which is currently sitting at 4.21.2 REX, but it’s welcome. This release adds 4.30 support to DEX users, better support for non-Rebug CFW, and you can now do a safe backup/restoration of xRegistry. Check below in the changelog for more CFW/toolbox updates and be sure to visit their website for the latest release:

REBUG TOOLBOX 02.01.02 – MAR. 17TH 2013
ADDED – 4.30 DEX Support
ADDED – Better Support for non-REBUG CFW
ADDED – Backup/Restore of xRegistry
ADDED – Toggle QA support for all 3.55/4.21/4.30/4.31 CFW
FIXED – Bug that stopped LV2 kernel from being reloaded more than once from dev_flash
