Next PSN maintenance set on Thursday 10-10-2013

October 9, 2013

Just yesterday The Z published an article in which he talked about what we can expect from the next PS Vita firmware update. For many readers this functionality means getting one step closer to the release of Total_Noob’s  kexploit. Sony promised that the next firmware update for PS Vita will bring the “PS4 Link app”, but handheld owners everywhere are in the dark when this update will take place.

However it seems there is a good possibility we won’t have to wait long, because cheshire_smile (Digital Platforms Community Manager over at the us.playstation.com) announced when the next maintenance for PlayStation Network will happen. Off course we will keep you posted if this maintenance brings the PS4 Link app to the Vita.

Next PSN maintenance will be on Thursday 10-10-2013 and below you can read the actual message as posted on PlayStation’s community forums.

Hey all,

We wanted to take a moment to let everyone know that there is a planned maintenance for PlayStation Network scheduled for Thursday, October 10th from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Pacific Time.

If you’ve signed onto PSN over the past few days, you’ll still be able to play online and access apps during this period, but you may receive a maintenance notification when attempting to access the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home, and Account Management as these services will be unavailable. Be sure to sign in now if you wish to access the Network during this maintenance window.

Thanks for your patience during this maintenance timeframe, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

What do you think will this maintenance come with new firmware? Do you like or hate reading my articles? Try to brainwash me on twitter @italkgame or voice your opinion in the comments below.
