Petition To Bring Back Xbox One DRM

July 11, 2013

The internet is full of crazy and whacky people, people like the 1guy/1cup person and people like Krister Kallekleiv from Norway who has created a petition 22 days ago to bring back the DRM imposed on the Xbox One by Microsoft, he calls the people who petitioned to get rid of the DRM “Trolls”, here is a quote from the petition at change.org:

We want back the features that the “trolls” of the internet has complained away!

We want discless playing from disc games.

We want family game sharing.

We want access to play our games on any Xbox One console.

We want a console of the future, not an Xbox 360 on steroids.

We don’t care if we have to check-in online once every 24 hour.

But thanks for making it region free. We DON’T want to change that!

Please share this petition!

At the time of me posting this article, 1,321 morons i mean supporters have signed this extremely stupid petition.

Now I’m wondering, is Krister Kallekleiv trolling, just a complete idiot or is he simply seeking attention ?

Here is the petition and thanks to amiroray for the news tip.

One day later ANOTHER crazy fool created a similar petition, that’s right, 21 days ago, another whacko created another petition to BRING BACK Xbox One DRM, now this petition has gotten more supporters thanks to Reddit, a whopping 10,144 crazy fools want Microsoft to re impose Xbox One DRM, the petition was created by David Fontenot from GA, here is a quote from his petition:

This was to be the future of entertainment. A new wave of gaming where you could buy games digitally, then trade, share or sell those digital licenses. Essentially, it was Steam for Xbox. But consumers were uninformed, and railed against it, and it was taken away because Sony took advantage of consumers uncertainty.

We want this back. It can’t be all or nothing, there must be a compromise.

Here is that petition thanks to YouTube Celebrity boogie2988 and here is his alter ego’s response to that petition:
