Like some of the other software I’ll be talking about on this list today, AldosTools is probably one of the single most updated releases that our community has to offer. That honestly is an extremely good thing considering how many different and updated tools we need to accomplish all of our many scene-related hacks and tweaks. For those of you that are unaware, the Aldostools collection is more or less an all-in-one suite to get all of your activity done in as few different locations as possible. Whether you are looking to edit a PRAM.SFO or just use some new cheats on your favorite game, this is the software to get that (and many other jobs) done.
The reason however that I spoke of those two tools specifically is because that’s what this latest build focuses on. Thanks to some fixes, utf8 on save operations should now function properly now. Bugs have also been addressed in relation to the program asking to save and not saving at inappropriate times. With regard to Cheats Editor, you can now create a .pkg for a patched eboot file and tagging has been improved. Not to mention the internal gingerbread database containing cheats for hundreds of titles has been revised too. That being said, this is one tool collection that gets some of the most essential scene tasks done right.
Up next, this popular backup manager just made its way to the internet today, but that doesn’t make it any less awesome!
