PS3LoadX _4.xxx Added to the Development Tool Chest

October 30, 2012

With all of the new custom firmware options available for the scene to use, there are tons of developers out there who have had to take their programs back to code in an effort for them to work within the newly updated environment. At this particularly momentous time in the community then, proper testing of these apps could be no more important. That is precisely why Condorstrike has updated PS3LoadX for us to use.

If you haven’t heard of this tool before, it is chiefly used to test games on any resolution you like which will make the process a lot more seamless for  those looking to increase the compatibility of their work. As far as the basic features go, PS3LoadX allows you to load self files from the net, play games from HDD and USB, install games on HDD and USB, copy applications between devices, and then delete them once you are finished. Essentially it makes sure all of those crucial system actions are going to operate correctly when it comes to the software you are creating.

This new version in particular sports a new loader, code refinements, bug fixes, and of course complete support for 4.xx. That being said, it’s time for  all you devs to keep on testing!
