PSN Spitting Out That 8071053D

March 26, 2012

Turning your PS3 on for the day and can’t get to the PSN? Looks like you won’t be updating your trophy collections. The majority of you guys should be experiencing an ‘8071053D’ error code when signing in. If not, then you’re just lucky.

If you were to look up the ‘8071053D’ error code, it will say that the PS3 needs a power cycle and the issue will be cleared. As random as that may be, power cycles do help to clear numerous problems in an array of devices, not only the PS3. However, doing such a thing has not resolved the error.

Sony is aware of the issue and they are working to fix it and have everyone, casual and addicts alike back online. If you have hit the ‘8071053D’ wall, let us know.
