 IrisManager v2.36 – PS3

It’s been quite a while since we have heard from folks like Estwald and D_Skywalk, but they have not kept us waiting in vain. Apparently the talented coders over at team Iris have been hard at work on one of the most anticipated features for their popular backup manager. That’s right ladies and gentleman, this small but mighty backup tool has gone totally discless! The best part of it all is in fact that according to Estwald himself, the feature has worked with every single game he has tried whilst using CFW 4.40 Miralatijera. In that sense, if that is the OS you are running you should definitely be all set to try the new method out, but it should work just as well elsewhere too.

To use the new feature, just head on over to Global Options / Tools / With or Without BD DVD controller. Turn that to your desired setting, reboot the manager and you should be good to go. The best way to make this happen of course is to use some kind of flash drive or USB device, plug that in, and then launch the game right from within Iris. Additionally it is noted however that you should also use a patched libfs.sprx or patched explore_plugin.sprx. Unfortunately, your drive will have to be in working order for it all to work as advertised, but the good news is you don’t need a disc anymore!

Want to use PSN content without limits? This next download is one of the most popular ways to do that!
