Sony’s upcoming PlayStation Vita version of Ratchet & Clank: QForce has been delayed yet again.

The game has already been released on the PlayStation 3 and the PS Vita version came with the PS3 version for free as part of the cross-buy feature. It was supposed to come out in January this year but has now been pushed back to Spring with no concrete release date revealed.

However, all is not bad as owners of the PlayStation 3 version will be emailed a free download code for the MotorStorm RC. They will also get a free downloadable version of platformer Ratchet: Gladiator once it is released on the PSN Store.

Speaking of the delay, Sony’s European product manager Ross Alexander, stated via the EU PlayStation blog:

“As announced, the PS Vita version of the game is now due in Spring 2013, The reason for this delay is to give the developer time to create the best portable Ratchet & Clank experience possible. We really appreciate your patience and are aiming to announce a specific release date for R&C: QForce on PS Vita as soon as possible.”
