The football season is almost over, but there will be no summer lull this year as the World Cup kicks off soon after in Brazil. And what better way to get in the mood than EA SPORT’s newly released 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
If you’ve been playing FIFA 14 and enjoying it, 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil brings that same quality with a few added extras. Gameplay additions include an all-new control system, set-piece tactics, new penalty kicks (crazy goalkeeper antics, check), over-the-back header and adidas ball physics. All these tweaks and additions ensure you’ll have the “tools” at your disposal to help your country lift the World Cup, or at least do better than England at penalties!
That’s not all either as 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil is jam packed with modes. Road to the FIFA World Cup, Road to Rio de Janeiro, Story of Qualifying and fan favourite Captain your Country are all present. Additional Modes include 2014 FIFA World Cup, Kick Off, Skill Games, Online Friendlies and EA SPORTS Football Club. See, we weren’t lying when we said ‘jam packed’.
All the above is tied up by some improved visuals, 203 nations, 7,469 players, 19 officially licensed managers, 21 stadiums, including all 12 authentic stadiums in Brazil, and over 15 hours of added in-game commentary. Oh and the match atmosphere and presentation has World Cup in Brazil written all over. That carnival atmosphere you’d expect is most definitely present, with fans creating cheering hard in the stadiums and back at home in fan parks.
Got the World Cup bug? Go on, pick up 2014 FIFA World Cup. The video below might give you that nudge, just in case you’re unsure.
