There were some key announcements for both upcoming Wii U and 3DS titles including fantastic new trailers and release date announcements. Without further delay, here is everything that was covered in Nintendo’s latest Nintendo Direct presentation:

  • There has been a new update released for Pikmin 3. This new update comes improving the Global Ranking feature so players can see the world’s highest scores in Mission Mode at any given time, as well as offering one add-on mission stage for free. After the update, players will also be able to purchase a new “Collect Treasure” stage pack from Nintendo eShop, with additional packs coming at a later time.

  • It has been revealed that Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games will be released for the Wii U on November 8th.  Players will be able to compete online in four events which include Ski Cross, Snowboard Cross and Short Track Speed Skating, in addition to Winter Sports Champion Race, a Dream Event that combines Skiing, Ice Skating, Bobsleigh and Snowboarding into a single event

  • It has had its delays but we finally have a concrete release date for Scribblenauts Unlimited. This title will be released for the Wii U and 3DS on December 6th.
  • Speaking of delays, unfortunately, it seems that  Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze has been set back until next year to allow for more development time in order to get a fantastic experience for fans.
  • We all love Kirby which is why it is fantastic that a new installment of the popular series has been announced for the Nintendo 3DS. More details about the game will be revealed at a later date.
  • Zelda fans, November 22nd is the date to mark in your calendars as The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is released for the Nintendo 3DS.
