The 4.XX custom firmware universe really can be an awesome thing. What can be better than having all of the very latest firmware features while maintaining access to your favorite homebrew right? That’s all well and good, but even with all of these recent strides, sometimes gamers still have a little bit of trouble getting their PSN titles to work for them. That’s why the JjKkYu released the TrueAncestor EBOOT resigning script for those that wanted to make an early jump to the very latest that Sony had to offer. This version released today may have a new name, but it has expanded on some of the features you already know and love.
In version 1.8 there is now support for batch resigning SELF and sprx files. That means if you’ve got a whole bunch of file modding that needs to be done, this should be the tool to do it. In addition there are some extra options for CEX CFW as well that will likely increase the compatibility of your games. You may need to mess around a bit to see which titles work, but these changes should at least help you out. Lastly, thanks to Ftsm the ELF patching method has been updated to something a bit more current as well.
More games to play with using a more reliable piece of software? It doesn’t get cooler than that.
